Real Christmas Tree - Pines and Needles

A Real Christmas Tree With Pines and Needles

It’s 2016 and we spend yet another year with a Pines and Needles Real Christmas Tree. We first worked with the lovely guys at Pines and Needles last year when we received our first christmas tree – If you missed it here the video on us receiving it and the awesome elves (yes I said elves) that delivered it.

I was so excited to work with Pines and Needles again this year. We were invited to their VIP christmas event were we would get it choose our own tree but due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn’t able to attend but the event looked amazing.

Why choose a Real Tree for Christmas From Pines and Needles?

Pines and Needles is carbon positive for most of the year their trees absorb Carbon and emit Oxygen. During the Christmas season Pines and Needles is Carbon Neutral as any emissions from transportation and delivery vehicles is offset by the trees still growing in our plantations.

They mainly use British trees from sustainable forests – less air and land miles means reduced emissions!

Pines and Needles mainly uses diesel fuel and has several LPG vans, but is endeavouring to replace its delivery vans with electronic vehicles

Increasingly Pines and Needles is switching to organically-grown trees. Pesticides can upset the balance of fragile ecosystems

Wherever possible they encourage the use of power-saving LED lights as these use a fraction of the cost of incandescent bulbs.

I really can’t fault anything about Pines and Needles the delivery has always perfect, The trees we have received have been beautiful – this year I have to admit I struggled with the upkeep and forgot to turn off the heater nearby but apart from that the tree lasted pretty well.
