Hayden’s First Spooktacular Halloween Party

At the weekend Hayden had his very first Spooktacular Halloween Party thanks to Tesco, which went down without a hitch. Tesco asked us to join their Halloween Spooky Van campaign and it was truly awesome.
If you missed the delivery of the goodies for the party check out my Tesco Halloween Spooktacular Delivery before you continue reading this post – trust me it’s totally worth it.

Hayden had 7 friends and family round for his little Halloween shindig and I’m really pleased with how everything went. Our friends and family had an absolute blast too. Everything we used for the party was purchased at Tesco including all food, drinks, sweets. Even the decorations & Hayden’s costume was provided by Tesco.
The only thing not included which you’ll see in the photos was the little popcorn stand, we had that from when we took part in the #SproutMovie campaign with SKY Movies. It made an awesome addition to the decor.

I tried to get as creative as possible with the decoration and made the front room and front door look like a spooky mad house.

The treats table was filled with fun goodies for the kids & adults to enjoy throughout the evening. The talking sweet bowl made so many people jump – highly recommended. The kids we’re playing with it for ages.

I even managed to get the kids to stop for a moment so I could take snap shots – This is one of the most difficult things to do throughout the night while running around hosting! A massive thank you to my neighbour for getting some snaps too.

Halloween Party

My mum and dad also played a massive part in helping make sure Hayden first official party was a success – THE FOOD!
On the menu was

  • Free From sausages
  • BBQ Chicken Wings
  • Spare Ribs
  • Vegetable Rice
  • Bat shaped breaded jam
  • Coleslaw
  • Sweet Pepper & Carrots Houmous Dip

All brought from Tesco the morning of the party.

Desert was pretty awesome too, homemade rib cage jelly with ice cream – went down a treat!

Overall a very successful Halloween Party where adults and kids had tons of fun.
I’ve already got a secret Pinterest board ready for next year 🙂

What have you got planned for Halloween?
