London Duck Tours

A couple weeks ago we were invited out for a morning of Pirate Easter Adventure sightseeing with London Duck Tours. We spent the morning with Captain Jack Mallard aboard the good ship Moby Duck for a special easter voyage on the land and sea of London Town.

We we’re even lucky enough to be graced with the early Spring sunshine which made it even more enjoyable. We arrived Waterloo station and it was really easy to find the location (turn right when you come out of the station and use google maps). The checkpoint looks like a normal London bus stop but with the London Duck Tours written as the location.

Take in the joys of springtime in London and keep the family entertained with The Pirate Easter Adventure, a fun and memorable treat for all the family this Easter holiday. With your trusty pirate crew, you will take in the sights of London and the sounds of the Thames whilst solving a series of fun pirate themed challenges.  So grab your eye patch, don your brightest Easter bonnet and strap on your best parrot to prepare for the journey of a lifetime!

Captain Jack Mallard said, in his very piratey accent, “I’m recruitin’ for a crew of trusty pirates to helps me find the treasure buried right here in London. We’ll be havin’ lots of fun on the way and I encourage ye to dress up as yer favourite pirate to gets into the spirit of things, Arrrrrrr!”

We got to see all of London’s famous landmarks with a fun pirate twist. You’ll have to make sure that you’ve got your eye on the prize as there are several things you’ll need to look out for on your list for the adventure like a London Cab, a red phone box and many more. Captain Jack Mallard will give you clues to find the hidden treasure on the treasure map so make sure you keep your ears and eyes open mums and dads – There is a prize for each child of a keepsake medal made of pure “pirate gold” for each child.

I even managed to spot my favourite flag in the whole wide world (can anyone guess the country?) The blue gold and blue with the broken trident in the middle.

Word to the wise… Don’t forget you get to go in the water too.
The yellow duck sits low in the water – Its scary and oh so fun at the same time.
