A few months ago Netflix launched a whole new Dragons series which we absolutely adore! DreamWorks Dragons Race to the Edge This Netflix original series features 13-episodes with Hiccup and Toothless leading the Dragon Riders as they soar beyond the borders of Berk and discover the mysterious Dragon eye – an ancient artifact filled with secrets that will lead them to new lands filled with undiscovered dragons. But the heroes find themselves pursued by marauding dragonhunters, who will stop at nothing to seize the power of the Dragon Eye.
The lovely PR dream team & Netflix (something) put together an amazing event and invited the stream team down to watch the first few episode of the 13 episode series. They had a delicious spread, fun activities, face painting sword fighting and much, much more.
Dragons Race to the Edge is a firm favourite in our house and just like All Hail King Julien … Toothless, Stormfly and the gang are now a part of our everyday life – Like seriously EVERYDAY life. Thank god we all have our own separate iPads because we have become a household of Netflixers … or using the new term Netflix-ing something I do bit too often (that’s for a whole other blog post … or several)
Back to the dragons it’s just like a follow on from the films which can also be found on the Netflix movie database also.
Heres a few snaps from our lovely time at Whitespace.
It was great seeing these lovely women too – Laura from My Life Unexpected, Mirka from All Baby Advice Blog finally briefly meeting Joy from Joy To The World.
I love the two rooms showing the series! So comfy and really well decorated.
The food was lovely too.
As always I find myself waiting till the end to leave Netflix events – Truth is I never want to leave.
They are usually pushing myself and Laura out the door HAHA
My excuse was I was finishing off making Hayden’s viking helmet – That’s my story & I’m sticking to it.
Thank you for a lovely screening and event Netflix!
Disclosure: I am part of the amazing Netflix Stream Team from time to time we get invited to events.
