Want It Style Wishlist Look One – The Long Grey Cardigan

Recently I realised I don’t actually have a regular weekly post, so I wanted to post more regular style posts and have decided to create a new style post called ‘Want it Style Wishlist’. I will be focusing on my favourite adult and child trends season by seasons that I want and wish to have.
From time to time I will feature items on myself and Hayden too – so keep an eye out for them.

This week – week one I’m focusing on the long grey cardigan. I’ve had a look around the internet and here are my top 6 favourite. While we’re still in spring and the UK weather is completely ridiculous and unpredictable the long cardigan can go with anything – even a pair of denim shorts or three quarters jeans. This look would also go great for Autumn too as it’s still slightly warm during the day. You can style your whole outfit around the grey cardigan, keep other items natural or try adding a splash of colour like the model in the 1st Woolovers Cashmere Cardigan image.

1. Woolovers: Cashmere & Merino Classic Long V Ladies Cardigan | 2. Matalan: V Neck Mid Length Cardigan | 3. ASOS Maxi Cardigan in Brushed Yarn | 4. Topshop: Long Duster Knitted Cardigan5. Zara: Knitted Cardigan with Pockets |
6. Newlook: Grey Poncho Tassel Hem Cardigan

I’m currently really loving the lighter grey cardigans, especially the grey on grey look, achieving a cozy combination. Wear it with flats for the school run or for the more sophisticated out to lunch look pair to with a gorgeous trap heal for the summer with a dark grey short sleeve long bodycon dress – It will look great! Don’t forget tassels are a major style piece this season.

Which are your favourite cardigan picks from my first Want It Style Wishlist series?
What do you usually pair your long cardigan with? I’d love to know.

Until Next Time… Charlotte x
