Great customer service from the brand
Overall: Great price for a small BBQ but took a hell of a lot of time constructed. Food cooked really well & tasted great.
We were given the awesome opportunity to review the Grill Chef Landmann Wagon 2 Burner Gas BBQ from ASDA. Yet another amazing opportunity for us, especially since we’ve been having some super brilliant weather, finally.
The BBQ arrived and we got to work that very same day… There were quite a lot of pieces and we knew it would take a while to put together – we being myself and my dad. He was a serious trooper outdoors in the sun helping me put it together.
LANDMANN was founded in 1966 in Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Here, at the gates of the Hanseatic city of Bremen, is where we have been concentrating on the world of barbecuing for over 40 years. LANDMANN was the first company to introduce barbecuing equipment to the German market on a large-scale. LANDMANN is still an entirely family-owned company. Our main concern is to maintain the sustainable development of the company for the future in order to fulfil our responsibility to our customers, our business partners and our employees.
Even the sensor in this picture could really do with being raised a little. Note the sensors are almost all the way towards the back of the slot in the firebowl.”
I chose a gas BBQ over a coal fire BBQ as my dad is very cautious about how he cooks his meals and its a lot healthier to eat foods cooked over a gas fire rather than coal. I didn’t actually think about how much time and effort goes into constructing a gas BBQ. But once everything was up and running and the hiccup over the sensors was fixed we had a nice little Gas BBQ for the summer!
Don’t forget to put the mess spill cup under the BBQ as you will end up with a mess on your bottom try.
