Panasonic Brit Blogger – Imaging Workshop at Panasonic HQ

***STOP PRESS*** I am a Panasonic Brit Blogger and was invited down to the amazing Panasonic HQ with 9 other pretty awesome bloggers for the day. We got up close and personal with their imaging workshop, checking out all the latest releases and learning more about the background of the company and their gorgeous products.

The morning started off with butterflies… as it usually does when there is an event I have to attend. I get so nervous praying that there’s someone there I know or hoping that people like me (Yep, I’m weird like that)
I opted to drive down to reading took about 1hr 45mins no traffic but I did make a wrong turn so added about 10 mins to my journey but made it in great time … For once! I’m usually late!
I met all the other bloggers who drove in the reception of the massive building and started chatting away like we had known each other for ages (as ya do). Then the bloggers who traveled by train arrived. We started off the day with a little tour of the floor we would be on for most of the day then sat down in a room filled with new and old Panasonic goodies.
We met Fiona the in-house expert of all things Panasonic (She was truly exceptional). Fiona led our day and gave us a lot of information and knowledge about the awesome Panasonic cameras.
We started off the workshop with the informative information:
Panasonic formerly known as Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd was founded way back in 1918 by Mr Konosuke Matsushita in Osaka, Japan. For many Japanese, he is known as “the god of management”.
Lets get down to the important stuff… I can honestly see why Panasonic has won so many awards.
I can’t express how excited I was to get my hands on these products… Take a look!

I have to mention … During lunch I got to sample a super cool feature … Yes I got to use an Panasonic electric toilet ..psss It had a heated seat function & auto flush haha

Had to get in a toilet selfie with my own Panasonic – Yep fully repping the brand!

After lunch we got to test out the WIFI settings & features of the

We also got to use the Panasonic Image App – I was able to place the camera on the table and while using my phone zoom in and out then snap an image. No need for a timer … AWESOME!
I struggled a bit to get my phone to connect to the camera, might have been because I was giggling a bit too much with Laura Oops. But with Gina’s help we were on the ball and snapping away!

After a few tips when taking photos?
– When you’re taking your photo ask yourself … ‘Is this interesting?’
– Intelligent Auto on the settings is there to help, take full advantage of it
– Make sure the sunlight is behind you
