So if you don’t have the time or money for a personal trainer here are a few ways of helping to bounce back from your pregnancy and lose that weight fast.
While you are pregnant maintaining a routine of doing some light stretching such as yoga or pilates will help you to stay in shape through your pregnancy. Not only will it help you to keep your shape as much as possible, and reduce the amount of extra weight you put on, but it will help you to feel motivated to get back into it when the time comes. Yoga and pilates are also good for keeping calm, and getting through the ‘baby-blues’!

Breast feeding shrinks the uterus naturally back into its original state and will help you to lose the baby weight without doing too much else, so it’s a great way to allowing the body to do its work.

When you are thirsty, instead of reaching for sugary or caffeinated drinks have water, especially while you are breast feeding. Pregnancy is one of your most healthiest times as a woman, because your body is focussed on creating a healthy space for the baby to grow, so you are probably already in the health routine. Don’t get back into the habit of having coffee and other unhealthy options when you have had the baby, and you will most likely get back into shape in no time!
For mothers with young babies there is a great need to get out of the house, even for a short trip, to change the scenery. You don’t have to do massive walks for miles, but putting the baby in the pram and going for a gentle stroll will really assist with getting your body back in shape. The other great thing about doing this is that the baby will probably be lulled to sleep by the feeling of being in the stroller, so you will be able to get some head space for yourself at the same time as getting some exercise.
Many mothers sometimes find it difficult to cut down on the amount of food they are eating after the baby is born, and if you are eating for two long after the baby has been born then you will start seeing that you don’t lose the weight that easily.
