London, 29 July 2013. Plusher is London’s first show dedicated to all things stylish and fabulous for families and is taking place on Saturday 9 November at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London.
The ticketed event will feature an exclusive selection of brands ranging from clothing and toys to interiors and holidays. Honeyjam, the independent toy shop co-owned by Jasmine Guinness and Honey Bowdrey has already confirmed their participation and Jasmine will also be involved in one of the panel discussions at the show. “Honey and I are delighted that Honeyjam is exhibiting at Plusher. It’s great to be part of London’s first ever show aimed at families. It will be a really fun day out for the whole family! I’m also looking forward to being part of the panel discussions aimed at the parents,” says Jasmine.
The childrenswear industry was valued at £6.5 billion in 2011 and this key market has seen a proliferation of children’s ranges by designer brands. Style will be an important part of Plusher and will feature a spectacular fashion show highlighting the very best Christmas party wear looks for maternity and childrenswear, as well as a look ahead to Spring / Summer 2014. The fashion show will be co-hosted by lifestyle and parenting title baby&me magazine, who is also the show’s parenting media partner. “I am delighted to announce that baby&me will partner Plusher, the first truly luxury parenting show in London,” comments baby&me Editor, Estelle Lee. “We are excited to be involved in bringing the fashion show to life under the creative direction of Carolyn Asome, deputy Fashion Editor at The Times and Contributing Fashion Editor at baby&me.”
There will be a number of activities and events taking place for adults and children throughout the day. Kids activities include an Anorak magazine creative area, a pop up photography studio by Julia Boggio who will taking snaps of mini fashionistas, as well as special appearances by children’s authors and other high profile guests. Kelly Willoughby will be reading from her and her sister Holly’s first children’s book ‘School for Stars’ and kids will be entertained by Amanda and her Action Club team during several of the slots.
There will be a raffle with incredible prizes ranging from products to experiences in aid of the Starlight Children’s Foundation, Plusher’s charity partner, which grants wishes for seriously and terminally ill children and provides entertainment in hospitals and hospices across the UK. £5 from every ticket sold will be donated directly to Starlight.
I will be there from 9:30 with my family – mega excited! See you guys there
