OMG! Christmas Is Coming But First Halloween

Yes I did just mention Christmas in the title… and yes I know we are only in September but we all know it has to be talked about sooner or later HAHA. I’ve actually seen so many shops down the high street start putting out goodies to get us in the mood for Christmas so it’s a bit hard not to notice really, but I will stop talking about it best holiday EVER and talk about my second favorite days HALLOWEEN.

While doing my research I found out that Halloween is the second most popular holiday with the second highest spend after Christmas can you believe? I can, from a young age I’ve always loved this holiday and will continue to always without fail.  I just wish the UK celebrated as hardcore as the Americans!

Halloween
Halloween or Hallowe’en (a contraction of “All Hallows’ Evening”), also known as All Hallows’ Eve, is a yearly celebration observed in a number of countries on October 31, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows (or All Saints) and the day initiating the triduum of Hallowmas.

Hayden had his very first Haloween costume that I picked up from Matalan last year. He was a Pumpkin… The cutest Pumpkin I’ve ever seen that’s for sure!

Goodness almost 10 months ago … Look at how small he is wheres my baby gone?
The year before that I went to my very first ‘grown up’ Halloween party and I dressed rather well HAHA

I have no idea what I will be dressing my little Caterpillar up in this year or myself been looking at costume ideas. I found a nifty little infographic with a some food for thought further down this page – who knows maybe you fancy dressing up as an oompa loompa…who am I to judge?
I also took to Pinterest to find some awesome Halloween decoration ideas just in case you decide to go all out this year and I got a little side tracked looking at craft idea for kids…

Now you can’t say that I don’t love you – Here are my favorites Kids Crafts 🙂

I think these are really simple but so much fun!!
Really excited for Hayden to be at the age where he can do this – At the moment he would just want to scrunch everything up.

Do you like Halloween? Do you usually dress up? What are you going as this year?
