Fun Indoor Educational Toys with Galt

We were contacted by the lovely company called Galt who wanted Hayden to review some of there toddler toy range. They have a great selection of educational toys to choose from and he had a blast with them. He got to try out puzzles for the first time too.

James Galt & Co. Ltd. has been established for over 175 years. James Galt himself was born at Stewarton in Ayrshire and set up as an educational stockist in Manchester in 1836.
In the 1850s the company expanded into printing and publishing and in 1957 the company moved from Manchester to Cheadle in Cheshire. In 1961 the Galt Toys division was formed.
Galt produces and sells quality toys which meet the needs of all stages of child development from 0-10 years.
Galt products are designed to be fun and to encourage learning through play. Traditionally the company is associated with art, craft and activity products. In more recent years Galt has established a name for itself in the First Years category with the innovative Playnest.

First Impressions:
– Fun
– Colourful (always great)
– Great Quality Puzzles

Baby Puzzles – Transport, Farm & Jungle
£4.99 each
Set of 6 shaped 2-piece puzzles for very young children. Simple colour puzzles with chunky pieces to encourage early matching skills and manual dexterity.

Hayden’s first big boy puzzle it was a lot of fun to watch. We tend to do this every other day now and change up the puzzles. He learns so quickly and has a lot of fun with them. I’ve noticed the quality of the puzzle pieces are really good. He puts them in his mouth and they are still intact which is really impressive.

Hayden’s first experience with a big boy puzzle

Pop-Up Toy
An amusing wooden toy with 4 colourful figures which bob up and down on concealed springs. Designed to encourage hand/eye coordination and introduce colour awareness.
Still a bit too young for colour coordination but is helping him learn his colours. He knows what red is so that makes me happy (my favorite colour). He loves pushing the wooden blocks down and have then spring back up.
He tends to put the wooden blocks in his mouth but I have to stop him because I have noticed that the paint it coming off.

Three Little Boats
These colourful nesting sailboats float happily in the bath tub providing lots of bath time fun. Colours may vary.
These are just your average boats that float, Simple, bright and endless fun because you can stack them together. They are also easy to take apart and clean to avoid mold

Great section of toys all different in their own way. We are able to learn and have fun at the same time. Now that Hayden is at that age he is taking in so much like a sponge and Galt has really helped.
