The kids are off on their 6 week long summer holidays! With the weather being so unpredictable it’s so hard to figure out what to do and where to take them.
I’ve put together 6 idea for you & your little ones.
Why not attend a three day event kids festival? This awesome day is designed for little people with loads of recognisable kids TV stars such as Justin Fletcher, Rastamouse, Peppa Pig and Hello Kitty. Includes live music, sports and science demonstrations and not forgetting performances from Britons Got Talent finalists PreSkool
Lollibop, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London, 16-18 August
2. Sing & Dance from your seat
If you are anything like us … a very musical family how about taking the little ones to see a Musical Theatre performance? – The Lion King is one of our favourites, seen it 3 times already just waiting for Hayden to get bigger to go for the 4th. There are some decent prices out at the moment you don’t want to miss out.

3. Make some Animal Friends
Little Creatures is back again for the 2nd year running due to it being extremely popular. The world famous ZSL London Zoo Family Festival features splash zone, stage shows, bouncy castles, a Crafty Critters zone, roving entertainers and the chance to get up close to the animals. There is so much going on at the Zoo at this time of the year. This Little Creatures event covers 3 days only and is at the normal entry price.
4. Visit your local kids cinema
Why not keep the whole family entertained this summer with Picture House
Showing every weekday at 11.00am is a awesome family movie at pocket-money prices!
Everyone is welcome including families, playgroups and with regular Autism-Friendly screenings too for children on the spectrum or with other learning difficulties or complex needs.

5. Visit the seaside
When the weather is bright and lovely the seaside is a great place to go, there are always fun activities going on and if not, why not make up your own? Grab a Frisbee, ball or even a bucket and spade to build some fab sandcastles … then top it off with a yummy ice cream.
6. Simply go to the park!
It costs absolutely nothing, if the weather is great then your laughing. I’ve added onto the end of our first day of VEDA Hayden at the park having a kick around with his dad & trying to climb the climbing frame for the first time. My sweet baby boy is growing up. Why not even recorded it or take photos and have those memories there forever.
