Weekend Bloggers Meet With Annabel Karmel

A couple weekends back at the start of our awesome heatwave, we were invited into central London to meet the lovely Annabel Karmel for the launch of her new app.

What Hayden Wore
Shirt: Primark
Shorts: Bluezoo
Shoes: Vans

The event was held at the famous building that is the Apple Store regents street. It had a very nice seating area at the back of the store on the upper level

Annabel came out and was interviewed by the lovely Jenny Frost, she spoke about her rather amazing life, why she wrote her cook book and her passion for improving children’s diets and coping with the challenge of feeding fussy eaters. We all have that same problem at one time or another right? I had a really heard time with Hayden, still do to some extent – Fussy eater who has allergies Yippee! But to be able to sit down and listen to ways that could actually help and advice is always such a great feeling.

Annabel shared with us some of her favourite tried and tested recipes and unveiled her new App.
Right so let me get this straight … Best-selling author and children’s food expert Annabel Karmel has devised an awesome app which provides all the information you need to when it comes to feeding babies & toddlers.

Genius!

There are more then 200 delicious, healthy and easy-to-follow recipes for your little one whether they are weaning or on their feet.

The app has even been updated to include the new feature My Planner which allows users to organise meals for the week ahead; an new easy-to-use Notes function to customise recipe sections and an interactive speaker application, making cooking in the kitchen even easier and less messy.

I can see some gorgeous looking bloggers over there!

The talk was then followed by an audience Q&A session. Can you believe I actually took the mic and asked a question – I got brave! But I really wanted to know what Annabel thought about babies, allergies and free-from foods.
It was pretty decent advice and knowledge from her part – Try not to restrict your little ones from eating certain foods, such as peanuts, fish, dairy etc
If you notice your child may be allergic to something restrict the food from their diet and reintroduce the food at a later date just to double check it was that certain food they were allergic too.
The App is available to purchase from the App Store for £3.99 – Check it out!

After the event we had a sit down lunch were we got to chat with the lovely Annabel, her team and other bloggers. It was a great day out.
