Bubble London Designer Clothes Trade Show June/July 2013

Another season, another Bubble London. I get so excited when I get to go to amazing trade shows such as these.

Bubble London runs twice yearly in January and June in sync with the European calendar, and is the only standalone children’s trade event in the UK. It has grown from 60 exhibitors at its launch to over 280 carefully selected collections last season. Throughout this growth, the intimate atmosphere, the attention to detail and the human dimension of the shows have never been compromised. Bubble has become an international reference on the trade show circuit, a must-visit event for anyone with a keen eye on the fast changing and very exciting children’s market. Bubble London is organised by ITE Moda Ltd.”

Attending Children’s fashion trade shows are now a part of my life thanks to Port Avenue – Designer Kids Clothes. Port Avenue is a new and vibrant online children’s clothing boutique launching extremely soon – Keep an eye out I will be talking about them a lot from now on.
Last month I attend the amazing trade show that is Bubble for the third time now and I have to admit it gets better each time I go. Can’t wait to attend in January 2014. The event is held in The Business Design Centre in Islington. This season there was a lovely creative peace upon entering the building before getting our badges.
The kids bedroom piece was by the very talented Donna Wilson, Just before attending the event I found Donna on Instagram and was so excited to see the amazing new products that will be available for sale in September. I didn’t get to meet Donna but hopefully I will in the future.
It’s really overwhelming once you enter the main area there are so many stands to see and you also get to meet people that you have only ever spoken to via email or on the phone. You would think – Ohhh third time pro, but I’m really not … I think towards the middle of the day I get my pro on and I’m like a natural HAHA.

Bubble provided us with some lovely little goodies to feast on before we got down to business

I got to see a lot of the brands that we had seen before which was great but I also got to see some new brands that I haven’t come across myself before.

The underlying appeal of the brand lies in the striking designs, vibrant colours and the quality of the fabrics; and this over the years has attracted a loyal following of customers. The loyalty of their customers and their commitment to retaining the essence of Crew has enabled them to grow the brand to where it is today.
Mumlin can be worn over the front or back depending on how you hold, feed, burp and wind baby. It is just the right size to protect shoulders, back and decolletage and can also be used as a bib on baby. Mumlins come gift wrapped in a pack of three; one for you to wear, one for the change bag and one for the wash.

Skribbles

The shoes have been developed with a special material and magic pens that allow children to customise their shoes everyday from new. Every pair of shoes comes with a pack of 6 pens, monster stickers and a wristband. Use the pens and stickers to customise your shoes and the wristband to wipe of drawings and store a pen for customisation on the go!

That’s only to name a few, there are so many amazing brands from all over the world at this trade show. I absolutely love seeing boys clothes, its so hard to find amazing boys brands but I found a few and we are so excited about them, will update you guys on this soon.

Have you been to a trade show?
Are you a brand that was at the show, how did you enjoy it?
