Guest Post A Mother And Child Bond

Today I have the gorgeous Nicola from Nicola… Life through my eyes guest posting on the blog today.

Have a read of this darling post then stop by her blog and say hello.

There is nothing quite like a mother and child bond. It truly is amazing. From the moment I saw that little line on the pregnancy test I instantly felt a connection to the baby. As the weeks passed and my belly grew the connection got stronger until she was born.

In that moment my heart was flooded with love and it felt like she had always been apart of my life. Now she is almost 1 the love has somehow continued to grow and develop into what it is today and I’m sure it will continue to do so for the rest of time.

I know her so well. I know when she is hungry, tired or just wants to play. It came very naturally to me but I know that it doesn’t for everyone. I feel very lucky. Before having Paige I had never held a newborn, never changed a nappy or fed a baby but it felt right.

Our bond is beyond words, beyond explanation but maybe, just maybe you can get a little peak into our bond through these pictures…

How would you describe the mother and child bond?

Thank you for reading,
Nicola Xx

  3. It begins with the smell of your newborn baby which is something I will never forget but I dont really think Mother and baby bonding ever ends, my son is 31 years old and mother and son bonding is still there.
